BiographyFrom a young age, I harbored a deep-seated certainty that I would pursue a dual path as both an artist and a writer. Over the course of my career, I have been fortunate enough to devote a substantial portion of my professional life to art. My creative journey has spanned a diverse array of mediums, including printmaking, pottery, textiles, bookmaking, and paper engineering. In addition to my visual art pursuits, I have ventured into the realm of literature, producing works across a spectrum that includes fiction, poetry, humor pieces, and non-fiction articles. These have found homes in print, radio, and online publications.
Among my notable achievements, I am perhaps most recognized for my role as the host of the CBC radio program "Shepherd in Residence" and for my beloved children's book "Erik the Viking Sheep." These projects have resonated with audiences and contributed significantly to my artistic legacy. Recently, I have embarked on an exciting new chapter in my career as a young adult fantasy novelist, exploring fresh realms of storytelling and imagination. My journey as both an artist and a writer has been marked by a commitment to creativity, innovation, and the exploration of diverse artistic expressions. I continue to evolve and expand my horizons, seeking to inspire and connect with audiences through my multifaceted contributions to the arts and literature. |
