About us

Fringe North is a vibrant art organization, best known for it’s annual multi-arts Festival. We are committed to to supporting young, emerging, established artists and prioritizing creating professional paid opportunities for artists and art. Practitioners in Northern Ontario. We Strongly believe in the power of the arts to inspire, educate and transform lives.

What We're Looking For:  

•  Passion for the arts and our mission  
• Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion  
• Willingness to leverage personal and professional networks to benefit the organization  

• Experience or interest in nonprofit management, legal, finance, arts and culture, public relations, event management, DEI, fundraising, and sponsorship is a valued asset  

​Board Member Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic leadership and governance                 
  
• Support fundraising efforts and donor engagement     
  
• Advocate for our mission and programs                                 
  
• Attend monthly board meetings                                           
  
• ​Support the annual Fringe North Festival and related initiatives
