With Mimi, Curves Ahead
Curves Ahead is a showcase of 10 bodies from Northern Ontario who are at different stages of their body-love journeys. This exhibit focuses on telling stories of body image, media pressures and celebrating each of our curves. Focusing mainly on female identifying bodies - (but welcoming all perspectives) the work hopes to spark conversation about body confidence, breast health and general comfort in our own skin.
About The ArtistI’m Mimi - and I’m on a mission to normalize bodies through lifecasting. For our daughters who grow up with filters. For our mothers who badmouth their magical bodies. And for myself because growing up in the heroine chic era took its toll. I want to help people (and the humans who love them) realize that they are walking works of art. Come make custom art of your body!
