Some Application Streams are still open.
Check below for more information.
This year's festival will run from August 21-25 2024. The festival will include both live and digital experiences.
We are excited to announce that Fringe North 2024 will be providing more opportunities than ever to get involved as a performer, creator, vendor, educator, and more! There are five different application streams (plus our Emerging Artist in Residence Expression of Interest Form) on this page.* Please scroll down and read each description carefully before applying to ensure it is the best fit for you. If you have any questions on where you fit in, do not hesitate to reach out to [email protected]. There is a $10.00 application fee for most streams, as indicated on each form. Please reach out if this presents a problem.
*IMPORTANT NOTE: We understanding the amount of forms is different than in previous years as we continue to grow as a festival. Please do not worry about inputing your information into the wrong form, either we will contact you or you can contact us. We will be happy to work together on getting your information where it needs to be.
More information for each stream can be found within the forms themselves.
Please note, for the entire festival, in all streams, 50% of slots will be reserved for IBPOC Artists. There will also be priorities for other equity seeking groups and relevant groups within Fringe North’s mandate (such as local artists and children’s artists), more information can be found within the application forms.
Fringe North 2024 will run in the evenings from Wednesday August 21 to Friday August 23, and throughout the afternoons and evenings on Saturday August 24 and Sunday August 25. On these days times will be selected for screened watch parties of digital content as well. Digital content will be available on demand from August 21-25.

Emerging Artist in Residency Program
Expression of Interest
Interesting in getting involved as an artist but have no idea where to begin? Check out EARP (Emerging Artist in Residency Program). This program is designed especially for those who are experiencing producing anything as an artist for the first time and have not yet presented before, or are very early on in their journey. If you are brand new to your craft but you know you want to do this art, you know you want to tell your story, in front of an audience, then express interest today!
You have a voice, and that voice is important. Why not share it with the world?
This expression of interest does not guarantee a spot in the festival. If you would like to secure a spot, please fill out the main application form as well.

Fringe North Visual Artist Stream

Fringe North BYOV Stream
OPEN
Want to get involved with Fringe North 2024 but have an alternative venue in mind? We would still love to work with you as a BYOV (bring your own venue) production! This means you will be marketed alongside all our other productions and included in our festival schedule, but will be offsite.
Fringe North is NOT able to assist you in finding a venue, supporting technical / production requirements at your venue, or selling tickets / merchandise at your venue. Inclusion in the BYOV stream includes marketing / promotion within our lineup, not production support.
