Our COVID-19 Policy (UPDATED 05/08/22)

Picture
The team at Fringe North is excited to bring artists, audiences, volunteers, and community members together once again for in-person programming!

That stated, we understand there are still risks associated with the spread of Covid-19 in our community. We want to do our part to reduce these risks, run a variety of accessible programming, and help keep those involved with our festival healthy and safe.

These are the measures we will be taking:
  • Contact logs and tracing will be in effect for all 2022 Fringe North in-person events. In case of a reported case of Covid during the festival, contacts will be contacted. Fringe North will be transparent in regards to any reported Covid cases associated with in person events.
  • Face masks and hand sanitizer will be available to all staff, volunteers, and patrons free of charge during Fringe North 2022 at the Sault Ste Marie Museum.
  • A mix of indoor, outdoor, and online events will be presented as part of Fringe North 2022. All indoor events will run at 50% capacity or less.
  • Fringe North 2020 tickets are transferable but not refundable. We ask if you’re sick - please stay home. In-person tickets can be traded in for digital performances, or shared with another person.
  • Fringe North continues to keep an eye on the local Covid 19 situation and communicate with Algoma Public Health regarding appropriate measures.
  • In the event of cancellation or changes to festival programming due to illness or other reasons, announcement will be made as soon as possible on Fringe North’s Facebook and Instagram accounts, and website - https://www.saultfringe.com/

Please note that our policy is always changing, to reflect the current Covid-19 restrictions and Public Health recommendations.
