Originally filmed as a docu-series set to premiere during the 2020 pandemic, Road to Bloom: Always Connected showcases thought-provoking conversations between Zachariah Highgate (@ZachariahHighgate) and several creatives in various disciplinaries. While discussing the pandemic, this short film also features dialogues covering additional topics; such as career navigation and the importance of solidarity in the face of discrimination. Road to Bloom: Always Connected will see its debut premiere at the Fringe North 2023 festival. It features Rekha Swamy (@SomethingtoCapture), Words with Michelle (@WordsWMichelle), and Aria Evans (@PoliticalMovement).

ABOUT THE ARTIST
Born and raised in Toronto, Ontario, Zachariah Highgate has spent the eleven years honing his skills as a rapper, singer, songwriter, and performer. As an Afro-Indigenous and Goan artist with a unique style, Zachariah's showcases a new Toronto sound curated by his life experiences. His music speaks to his struggles, but also sheds light on his hopes for the future. Zachariah is currently in the studio working on new music, including his debut EP dropping in 2023. Zachariah is also working on an upcoming web-seriesand is currently modelling for designers in the city.
